Blue Heron Preserve

Leader: Alyson Wakeen, Forest Bathing Practitioner

Untitled design 20Join us for a peaceful and restorative evening at Blue Heron Preserve, a signature park of Western Reserve Land Conservancy known for its quiet ponds, abundant wildlife, and scenic trails. Surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, you'll be invited to slow down and experience the landscape in a more intentional way. With a brief presentation on carbon credits, we will discuss our relationship as human beings with trees and our environment.

Guided by forest bathing practitioner Alyson Wakeen, this immersive experience will include gentle meditations, mindful meandering, and opportunities for quiet reflection and connection with others. Rather than a traditional hike, this is a chance to move slowly, engage your senses, and deepen your relationship with the natural world.

Tea and light snacks will be provided. Please bring a meditation cushion or yoga mat, water, and wear closed-toe shoes. We will walk approximately one mile on gravel trails, so dress for the weather and come prepared for the conditions.
