The film features the groundbreaking work of The Caterpillar Lab, renowned entomologist David Wagner, and Doug Tallamy, co-founder of Homegrown National Park, whose research has transformed the way we think about native plants and the insects that depend on them.

Amy Roskilly
Amy holds a B.S. in Communications from Ohio University and a M.S. in Environmental Studies from Cleveland State University. She is the Communications Director for the Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District where she has worked for almost 20 years. Amy is an avid gardener who fills her yard with native plants to support pollinators and other wildlife.

Dave Tomashefski
Dave co-founded Meadow City Native Plant Nursery inCleveland in 2022. As Education Specialist, he is responsible for the nursery's educational programs. Prior to Meadow City, Dave worked at the Soil, Water and Environmental Lab at Ohio State, where he also earned his M.S. in Environment and Natural Resources. He is a lifelong nature lover, having grown up birdwatching in Lakewood. His gift is finding the perfect plant for everyone!
